A Life Well Lived!
Mary was diagnosed with large granular cell leukemia 12 years ago. Her fight was largely a private one – she managed her condition with medications while fighting for the things that meant the most to her – family, friends, and community. Nothing surpassed her love of family, and if you found yourself in Mary’s orbit, you were family.
So many have experienced the unconditional love, patience, compassion, selfless encouragement, sense of humor and quiet strength that Mary imparted into the lives of those she touched. Her most cherished roles were that of daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother (Nana) to seven beautiful children, ages ten to two.
In September of 2022, Mary was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndromes. MDS an aggressive form of blood cancer caused by a decline in white blood cell counts.
It was always difficult for Mary to allow us to ask for help on her behalf. She was a warrior, and a tireless leader in the fight for others.
After what appeared to be a successful stem cell transplant, Mary relapsed into Acute Myeloid Leukemia and passed away peacefully on October 9th surrounded by all the people that she loved so fiercely.

In honor of Mary we can continue this mission!
